Every Child Matters!

The #1 job of all educators (teachers, paras, and administration) is to build positive relationships with ALL students. When I say ALL students, I mean every student!

From the “popular” student to the “high-achiever”, from the “athlete” to the “captain of the debate team”, from the “outgoing” student to the “shy and quiet” student, from the “lazy” student to the “problem” student. Educators have an obligation (a duty) to treat all students equally. They have an obligation to treat all students with dignity, respect, and kindness.

If educators took the time to show every student that they are important, they are heard, and they matter, we can positively impact the course of education, and we can positively impact the future course of this country. But it’s going to take a village.
